Bus Schedules
I am curious how the new bus routes are working around town. We now have three buses going through our neighborhood.
The K-5 that comes through around 6:50. Then we have a middle school bus and then a high school bus. Those used to be the same before the high school rezoning.
The middle school bus now goes through two other neighborhoods. She made it to her pod exactly at 8:30. I don't know if you know but the school annoucements start before the school day and middle schoolers are allowed to go to the pods at 8. So if you get there at 8:30, you miss the annoucements and rush to start your day.
They have also packed the buses to have three kids to every seat.
At the end of the day, the bus didn't pick up the kids until 3:54 and my daughter didn't get home until 4:40. 110 minutes after the end of the school day -- what a waste of time!!
I also heard that the HVA bus was late 25 minutes both Monday and Tuesday.
I am very curious what others are hearing and feeling about this.
