I know Halloween is on 31 Oct and this year it is on Friday and it's also the last home football game for FHS. Does anyone know what time trick or treat will be?

Penny you can get your Halloween candy at Kroger's right now, they are having a sale!

In my neighborhood the youngest of children start while it is still light, maybe 5:30ish. I usually set up a Mexican food bar in the kitchen and we just answer the door or sit on the porch until around 9.

I have often wonder why we don't have set hours for trick or treating. Each town where I used to live set their own hours.
Maybe your neighborhood could promote a recommended trick or treating time. Usually the later hours are filled with older kids. So it wouldn't be bad to have trick or treat between 5-7, allowing families with older children to go to football games.
Thanks for using this forum to ask your question. Sorry I have not been posting much lately. Too much stuff going on that I look forward to sharing in the near future.

I never knew there was a set time for trick or treat. I thought it was just whenever you wanted to open your doors and pass out candy.
